Cankado started as a research project to understand improvement needs in current cancer care. The idea was to develop a system which represented a harmonious extension to the existing care landscape. In cooperation with patients, physicians, as well as nurses’ associations and clinics all over the world an entirely new way of digital support of patients with chronic diseases has been developed.
